Misty Mata, CPA
It’s a short month and a full month at CCTSCPA –and in many of your firms and companies! In between deadlines and client meetings, we hope you’ll be able to join us for our February events. Just remember, everyone needs to eat. And CCTSCPA events always include a meal!

Our annual tax conference is almost at capacity, and our CPE luncheon the following week is sure to bring in a great crowd with Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar as the speaker. Find all of the details below and be sure to send your registrations in so you don’t miss out!

We look forward to seeing you in CPE this month!

The fourth annual silent auction will be held on Feb. 3, at the 59th Annual Tax Conference to provide scholarship funds to local accounting students. You can donate an item to be auctioned off, make a bid on a donated item, OR simply make a monetary contribution to the chapter’s scholarship fund. We’ll make it easy and fun for you to give back! Please contact Chapter Liaison Melinda Bentley (800/428-0272, ext. 279) if you have something to donate to the auction. And come ready to bid or donate on Feb. 3.
