Message from the President
October brings pumpkins, goblins, tax deadlines, and CPE our way! If it’s your year to take the TSBPA-approved, four-hour ethics program, be sure to take advantage of the affordable live offering on Oct. 21. We’ll also be hosting a chapter luncheon for another hour of CPE following the ethics course. You can register for one or both programs using the links below.

It’s already time for our chapter’s nominating committee to begin working on identifying chapter leaders for 2017-2018. If you or one of your colleagues would like to be considered for a board position next year, please be sure to submit a nomination form. Board service has been rewarding for me both professionally and personally through the new contacts I’ve made. It’s also a wonderful way to provide input about what programs and services we deliver to CCTSCPA members. We’d love to have your help!
We look forward to seeing you at ethics and lunch this month!

CPA Mentors NEEDED!
A handful of local accounting students are eagerly waiting for CPA mentor matches. This is a small time commitment that can make a BIG difference in helping a future CPA learn more about the profession and your experiences as a CPA.
