February Events Support Students
The third annual silent auction raised over $2,000 that goes directly to scholarship funds awarded to local students. Many thanks to our donors and bidders for supporting the auction and local students!
A group of about 25 CPAs and accounting students participated in Adopt-A-Beach in February. Sporting their CPA volunteer shirts, members had fun giving back to the community where they live and work.
Meet the CPAs – April 22
The chapter’s Meet the CPAs luncheons are fun for both our student guests and our CPA members. Make plans to attend the next one on April 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Katz 21. Even if you aren’t hiring or you’re not in a position to hire, please consider attending to show these students how active our CPA community is and to show your passion for your profession. Lunch is free for students and candidates, and CPAs pay only $15. Register by April 18.
Students/Candidates: Email Melinda Bentley to register.
