Message from the President
Things are moving right along at CCTSCPA! The September CPE luncheon kicked our year off to a great start. October will keep us on track with our annual ethics offering and another CPE luncheon opportunity.

We’re also starting our planning process for Counting on Santa. This program has been a great way for our members, firms, and companies to give back to the local community. I hope you’ll be able to participate this year.
If you’ve considered being involved on the chapter board, now’s the time to raise your hand. We’ll be working on our chapter nominations process this fall and would love to have your nominations for the committee’s consideration.
I look forward to seeing you at our October events!

Calling All Elves! Counting on Santa is Back!
Come to the Counting on Santa organizational meeting on Oct. 20 at 5:30 p.m. at Brewster Street. For the past three years, CCTSCPA’s Counting on Santa community service project made the holiday season a little better for underprivileged children and helped show the Coastal Bend how committed CPAs are to the public they serve. We hope you’ll help us make this the best year for Counting on Santa yet! We’re asking you to be an elf or identify an elf (or group of elves) in your firm or company to help coordinate the effort. We also need donated boxes to be used as collection boxes (those from reams of paper work very well). From the wrapping of the boxes to the box delivery and toy collections to our collection roundup in early December, there are plenty of EASY ways you can be involved. Be a part of this FUN and REWARDING way to give back! We hope to see you on Oct. 20!
